Anne Krueger is Senior Research Professor of International Economics, School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University. She is a senior Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, and Ritch Professor Emeritus of Economics at Stanford University. Anne Krueger was First Deputy Managing Director, International Monetary Fund, 2001-2006; and Vice President, Economics and Research, World Bank, 1982-86. She held Professorial appointments at Stanford (1992-2001), Duke University (1987-1992) and the University of Minnesota (1959-1982). She is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and Past President and Distinguished Fellow, American Economic Association. She has published extensively on issues of international trade and economic development and the political economy of trade policy, including works on India, South Korea and Turkey. Her newest book is “International Trade: What Everyone Needs to Know”, Oxford University Press, October 2020.
